My guess as to why they're going down is the increase in use of "dark pools" where companies avoid the exchange all together, therefore denying the exchange of the trading fees it would have gained.

Also the valuation for the exchanges are changing. If you can pick up a quality company for much cheaper than the exchange, you're going to take your profit out of the exchange and buy the beaten down quality company because when things do turn around it'll give you greater gains.

Cramer's been bearish on ATVI (now ATVID) for months now (Feb 11 to be exact), and I'm not quite sure why. Blizzard is a solid company with several huge game updates in the pipeline, and Activision still its massive Guitar Hero and Call of Duty franchises. With Guitar Hero: World Tour coming up in Sept/Oct (which will be massive even though I personally think the competing product Rock Band is worlds better), I can't see it going anywhere but up.
Bullish just means that Cramer thinks the stock will go higher, but did not explicitly state it was a buy. A bearish call is the opposite, and means that Cramer thinks the stock will drop. But this does not necessary mean you should sell.

If Cramer labels something as a buy or screaming buy or triple buy ("BuyBuyBuy") then I put it down as a Buy. Otherwise, anything that he says that points to an optimistic outlook for the future goes down as a Bullish call. If I'm not sure I generally ignore the call.

I have been spot checking your new feature on the alphabetical listing of stocks commented on by JC. In this section, you make a decision on whether he is correct or wrong on his latest assessment of a stock. I think some of your correct or wrong ratings are misleading. Here's an example. On Akamai (AKAM), you list his current position as correct. However, if you look at his historical pronouncements on AKAM, early last year through about May, JC was very bullish and raved repeatedly on AKAM as it moved as high as $53. Those who bought AKAM in that price range (not me) took a bath on this stock as it tanked during the second half of 2007. So, I think you should tell anyone who looks at this new alphabetical listing feature that it is very important to also look at his historical assessment of the stock. AKAM is just one example where JC did a 180 degree turn on a stock which he absolutely loved. Like any other analyst (albeit not of JC's rock star notoriety), he will change his position, often for what he considers to be legitimate reasons. More than with any other public analyst (i.e., one with a nightly national TV investment show & a Bully Pulpit), the investor needs to evaluate a JC pick "today" in the broader context of his previous view of that particular stock. Yet another example is Shaw Group SGR. It was highlighted in December 2007 as a featured stock at about $66. Since then, JC has mostly avoided talking about it as the stock has plummeted to as low as $51 in mid January, 2008. Currently it's $58. Bottom line--look at all of JC's comments on a stock.
